Merry Christmas

Another year has flown by and as usual I look back and see what a busy year I have had. This year I taught on the cruise to New Zealand, recorded 3 episodes of the TV show Susan is Craft, I was the Coordinator of the Waverley Patchworkers Quilt Show and I also coordinated the Waverley Art Quilters Group and I kept up my duties as a quilt valuer with Victorian Quilters.

I taught quite a few classes on crazy quilting and machine quilting and was busy at home because I have my daughter and son in law living with us while they build their house and my two sons also still live at home. Running a household with 6 people and doing everything else made for a busy year.

I am not complaining, I have a wonderful life and the most exciting thing to happen was the birth of my first grandchild, Savannah. She is now 6 weeks old and is keeping everyone delighted but busy.

Thank you to the kind readers who have taken the time to comment on my blog, you have made my poor attempt at keeping up to date seem worthwhile.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone and let's see what 2015 brings to us all!

Bye for now,

It is always a treat for me when you create a blog post. How can you give everyone part of you and still have something left over to replenish? I guess you can touch a lot of people with a blog. You list of accomplishments this year is truly staggering and impressive! Thank you for sharing yourself with everyone. Savannah is lucky to have you for a grandmother. Thank you for posting her photo. I could get lost in her eyes! Do replenish, LInda. You are so appreciated.

Merry Christmas Linda. I'm inspired by your work. In a world where people can churn out quilts in a weekend, it's nice to know people like you who take the time to make truly beautiful quilts, which really are works of art. I saw your quilts in the 500 Traditional Quilts book earlier in the year, and thought they really deserved to be there, amongst some of the best quilts in the world. Congratulations and I hope you continue to enjoy your quilting.

You certainly accomplish a lot in your life, Linda! My friends tell me I'm organised, but I'm nowhere near as organised as you, and I bet you don't procrastinate, lol!
I'll be reading your blog as long as you write it, as even though I don't accomplish much, I am inspired by your work.
Have a lovely Christmas and happy new year :-)

Thanks Gina and Lorraine, Merry Christmas to you both. I do try to be organised Gina but often fall short of my own expectations.
